Thermal Transfer AOHM-35 Fluid Cooling Mobile Heat Exchanger

Description

The Thermal Transfer AOHM-35 Fluid Cooling Mobile Heat Exchanger features a wide flow range and high heat removal with a long-life hydraulic motor drive. This heavy-duty construction is idea for mobile applications where the cooler can be remote mounted away from the engine’s heat to provide more efficient cooling.

As with the AO and AOVH series, the Thermal Transfer AOHM Heat Exchanger can be configured for one or two pass flows for either low flow high heat rejection or high flow high rejection applications.  Both can be setup to include an internal pressure bypass for cold start-up protection.  The high/low turbulators allow for optimal heat rejection at lower flow rates. Other features include a high-performance fan and adjustable louvers to regulate the direction of heated exhaust air.

Air cooled oil coolers are built for operation with maximum oil pressures of 300 PSI and temperatures of 400°F. The motors furnished are specially built for fan duty. They are guaranteed by the manufacturer for operation in a maximum ambient temperature of 104°F. Consideration should be given to installation location so motors are not subjected to temperatures above this level. Air/oil coolers that are to be installed for utilization of waste heat for the space heating should be mounted 7 to 14 feet above the floor depending on the structure, for proper heat distribution.
