Sterlco 696.36033.07 56-T Stainless Steel Bulb Well For 2- and 2.5-inch Valves style inserts into tank or line tee allowing for the removal of the temperature valve without draining the tank or breaking a line open. Bulb wells also act as a chemical barrier to the valve sensor bulb allowing for a brass valve with a stainless bulb well in the event liquids are caustic or corrosive.
